![]() i opened the box from UK, i found the platter slips has been unmounted and have bearing and O ring beside, which i showed in the picture. I don't think the spindle can be pulled out, it seems fixed firmly on the plinth.Īctually, i received this parcel yesterday afternoon. I took the pictures again, please help to take a look at it. ![]() I have no idea how to to uninstall the spindle from plinth,so i am not able to follow your instruction to put O ring and bearing into spindle. You can use my pictures as a guild and try to press it back in if yours has come loose. If the spindle has been removed it might be damaged so take a good look at it and it must be placed in the hole in the housing in the correct way. In the picture you posted before where was the spindle housing? The spindle housing should not have come off if I remember right it is pressed onto the housing assembly. I have included some pictures of what it should look like under the platter. Then the platter slips over the spindle, I would put some fresh grease in the bearing assembly and around the spindle before you put the platter on. The lone washer goes on top of the bearing assembly. The O ring goes over the spindle and then the bearing assembly slips over the spindle. Musicmn wrote:Hi, you must have changed your pictures because i saw one of the plinth without the spindle sticking up in the center. The spindle stays in the spindle assembly inside the deck. This is how the platter should look when removed from the plinth. The teeth on the bottom of the platter mesh with the teeth on the main cam wheel. The spindle sticking up in the center of the plinth. The bearing assembly must go under the main cam gear. ![]() Hi, you must have changed your pictures because i saw one of the plinth without the spindle sticking up in the center. ![]()
